It is not always the posh and elegant coffee shop that wins the heart of the client. There are times when luxurious furnishings and elegant design cannot compete with the feeling of home.
That is what Zabadani Layered Coffeeshop is for me – Home. It is found at JP Rizal corner Bangoy (formerly Ponciano) Sts. It is owned by partners who are both young Muslim professionals. They have their own set of coffee concoctions. They learned to brew their coffee at Singapore.
When you are at Zabadani you have to try their layered coffee which is best taken within 2 minutes from the time it is made.
The ambience of the place is “Muslim”. It has a carpet where your can sit and rest while having your coffee. A shelf filled with novels and some Islamic literature. It has 4 unit of PCs connected to the web.
If you are looking for an unique local coffee shop in Davao. There is no place to go but Zabadani’s.
